It was interesting to see the range of reactions to this show, which included profound revulsion and disgust. It’s about social anxiety and the fear that you’ll be seen that way and that’s what happened. It’s dangerous art which is rare. It’s also very funny. Personally I admire the vulnerability to show the worst side of yourself. By the end, I felt like Nathan really had gotten what he needed from the experiment; he felt the pain and love of being a parent and, I think, felt a parental urge.
