The Boys

Weird one. It’s glib beyond recognition but it has an all timer of a villain who just keeps you tense as shit whenever he’s on screen, which holds the whole thing together. It’s a show about toxic abusers with a gallows humor almost as a coping mechanism. I kind of hate it but have to give it props for making my heart race.
