The Bear

I appreciate the back to basics, less ambitious nature of this season to some extent. It is still good. But I think it’s basically out of things to say. It feels a bit too meta often. The ticking clock is a literal ticking clock, etc.

(And also I kind of had no idea what the clock even meant. They talked about a parachute? They said the restaurant shuts down when it ends, but then, apparently it doesn’t? idek)

It’s good that Carmy is leaving because he’s turned into a weird robot who is good at listening and basically emotionally healed. But also, more importantly, Jeremy Allen White has to go off and be a movie star now.
