It’s bold in a lot of ways. The two main guys are playing long games where they’re not saying exactly what they’re thinking and we’re left to wonder. It also isn’t afraid to repeat itself a little, and explore variations on a theme. Of course it’s gross and nasty and nihilism-making too, which is mostly to its credit. Does a good job of presenting character types, sketching them out quickly and vividly. Fun weirdos.
