It held my attention.

Cool setting. Good cast. High stakes.

The suspense was a little bit weird because they sort of tipped their hand hard and early. Of course it turned out to be misdirection, so the final reveal genuinely did surprise me. But like, the reveal is basically that there’s no twist. The guys who seem like bad guys are bad guys. It really is fucked out there. The only thing that was new is the reveal that there are more silos. Which isn’t nothing and does set up some storytelling possibilities. But it can’t help but land like a cold shower. An extinguishing of hope. I spent the whole season waiting to see Oyelowo and Jones again. Nope! Fun!!!??
