For All Mankind

A little muddled and ambiguous about who we’re actually rooting for but that’s fun in a way. Material to be grappled with. As always there are tons of fun details. My favorite small one is when they imply in passing that Elvis is still alive. Sure why not. Themes of leadership and chains of command are sprinkled throughout. People who are just executing their orders. How that works and sometimes doesn’t. Power getting taken and taken back. Sort of heady stuff if occasionally clunky too. No idea what I want from this show but I will follow them into the alternative present. 2012 here we go.
