Black Mirror

Currently buzzing from the pleasure of Demon 79, a clear favorite of this lot of episodes. What a goddamn romp.

This is a strange season that seems more focused on media criticism than anything else. There’s not a lot of science fiction per se. But the most sci-fi one, Beyond The Sea, was really solid and provocative and well-acted.

Joan Is Awful made me roll my eyes more than anything else, no matter how fun Annie Murphy is.

Loch Henry was unsettling but didn’t do much for me.

Mazey Day was a ton of fun. Love the setting and loved the turn it takes. It’s a simple concept but I was smiling like a dope for the whole second half.
