Better Call Saul

The Werner stuff is perhaps a little rushed but the ending is gorgeous.

The Gus and Hector stuff is kind of corny to me, although Margolis’s acting is improved once he stops speaking words.

The Nacho stuff is interesting. He’s a man trapped and he doesn’t really have an outlet that we see and so he’s just always coiled. There isn’t much narrative with him. He’s only half of a protagonist, unfortunately. Frankly, Mando deserves better.

Dalton is a delight.

And then yeah, Jimmy and Kim. The “something stupid” montage is lovely, and feels like the thesis for the whole season. They’re in love. This is a love story. And it’s kind of hot and confusing and sad. I’m rooting for them to hopefully only hurt each other a little bit.
